Google for Ethiopia .The right place & at the right time.

A recent study by Eurekalerts on developing countries shows the number of mobile phone users exceeds those who have access to sanitation services, toilets basically. Africa's very short history in technology, especially concerning mobile phones is just amazing. We are simply leapfrogging from NO technology to NEW technology , skipping everything else in between.so where does Google fit in?Well, basically anywhere there is a phone and a problem to be solved.

This is how I think Google will solve many of Africa's deep rooted problems .First is Google's immense computational power in digging up information . Second ,cloud computing with the App engine platform & third, with its highly popular android mobile platform .
The reason why I chose these platforms[Mobile Cloud] instead of Google's stand alone products such as Gmail is flexibility towards addressing the imminent problems we're faced with .
If we can automate bureaucratic Government systems, health care systems ,finance & education in perfect synchronization with these Google platforms ,we would end up solving ¾ the problems , provided that we boost up the optimism &  hard work.
As a paradigm , few developing countries have build a cloud based application for commodity exchange and make it available through phones to ordinary farmers, these people will clearly have an advantage on what to produce depending on the market demand and to sell it products at a modest price .
